The most urgent needs are for the Nursery School. They have no educational toys. These can be purchased in Sierra Leone, although relatively expensive, we still prefer to buy locally where possible as it feeds into the local economy.
Other school resources we like to buy locally are Geometry sets (Protractor/set square/compass), school bags and exercise books.
Contributing to the Orphan Support programme is another way of helping with the child's education. Regular donations also contribute to feeding the orphans at lunch time while in school.
Teachers and staff can also be supported by a monthly contribution of £28 (GBP)/$52(USD)
