Outreaching to the Lost, Sick and Hurting with the Fullness of the Gospel of the Kingdom of Jesus Christ

We are pleased to announce that we are continuing expanding the work with the grace and favour of God with the poor, orphans and the disadvantaged in Sierra Leone, West Africa. We have recently opened the of 'House of Hope' Care Centre for vulnerable and orphaned children, currently giving a home to 18 children from 2.5 years old to 19 years old.

We have also recently opened 'Heaven's Garden' Baby Rescue Centre for babies whose mothers have died in childbirth and there is no other means of support for the baby. Sierra Leone has the highest maternal death rate in the world.

All our projects are supervised and managed directly by our own staff on the ground with full accountablity to the UK Charity.

Although Fresh Hope Ministries International is a UK based Charitable Trust based in Bangor, Northern Ireland  our Operations Centre is centred in Bo, the second largest city in Sierra Leone.

Projects include:

  • 2 Nursery and Primary Schools
  • Orphan Support Programme
  • Kingdom Extensions (Church Planting)
  • Remote Village outreach
  • Vocational training programme for vulnerable women
  • School of Ministries running a 3 year acredited Diploma in Theology

Current operations include:
  • A Nursery and Primary School of 126 pupils, many are from extremely poor backgrounds where we provide the schooling free of charge.
  • Remote village school , 3 hours walk from the nearest road,  for 75 kids who would otherwise not go to school
  • 'Heaven's Garden' Baby Rescue Centre for babies whos mothers have died in childbirth and there is no viable next of kin.
  • 25 orphans are supported foster care in Christian homes and in our 'House of Hope' residential care centre  5 are at nursery school and 6 at secondary school the other 14 are in our Primary school. Ongoing personal sponsorship is required as we take on more abandoned children.
  • A Vocational Training Scheme for young women is in operation where they recieve various skill training and bible teaching as well as basic English and Mathematics. This gives them an alternative to more vunerable occupations that they may otherwise turn to.
  • 3 non-demoninational church plants in and around Bo. 3 trainee pastors are going through pastoral training at the School of Ministry in Bo.

Current developments also include:

  • A Medical Education Centre
