Training of pastors and lay people is an integral part of the Gospel of the Kingdom. We need to train up men and women of high Godly integrity, for the fields are ripe for harvest. Our School of Ministries is a Bible College aiming to provide a wide range of courses and serving the wider Body of Christ.

The Fresh Hope School of Ministries currently runs a 3 year course leading to a Diploma in Theology accredited by the Assemblies of God Evangel Bible College in Freetown.
We currently have a total of 18 students sponsored by various AG churches and other demoninations. We have 3 of our own Fresh Hope Pastors attending, 2 are in their final years and one in his first year. Thes pastors will be assigned to the Fellowships Centres which are the basis for our Church Plants.
The School was started in 1990 by Restoration Ministries with a 9 month programme of study. In 1995 the course was upgraded to an 18 month course leading to a certificate in Bible and Ministry. A further 9 month course of study was then offered at Evangel Bible College in Freetown qualifying for the award of Diploma in Theology.
From 1998 to 2002 the school ceased operations due to the appalling security situation.
We are pleased to announce that from the First semester 2006 the full Diploma in Theology can be studied at the Fresh Hope School of Ministries in Bo, without the need to travel to Freetown for the final year. This is a great advantage as many students who finish the Diploma in Freetown do not return to the rural area's where they are much needed.
Current Courses Offered
- Certificate in Ministry - one academic year (39 credits)
- Certificate in Bible and Missions - 2 academic years (72 credits)
- Diploma in Theology - 3 academic years (105 credits)
In the near future we plan to introduce shorter courses to help equip
people from all walks of life to serve as pastors, teachers,
evangelists and missionaries. These new courses will be geared towards
part-time study or short intensive sessions.

- Currently the School of Ministries meets in our Primary school after normal classes are finished. Our plan is to build a purpose built School of Ministries on the land we hope to purchase at Kebbietown just outside Bo.
