Fresh Hope Ministries International - Sierra Leone
Our Work in Sierra Leone
Outreaching to the Lost, Sick and Hurting with the Fullness of the Gospel of the Kingdom of Jesus Christ
We are pleased to announce that we are continuing expanding the work with the grace and favour of God with the poor, orphans and the disadvantaged in Sierra Leone, West Africa. We have recently opened the of 'House of Hope' Care Centre for vulnerable and orphaned children, currently giving a home to 18 children from 2.5 years old to 19 years old.
We have also recently opened 'Heaven's Garden' Baby Rescue Centre for babies whose mothers have died in childbirth and there is no other means of support for the baby. Sierra Leone has the highest maternal death rate in the world.
All our projects are supervised and managed directly by our own staff on the ground with full accountablity to the UK Charity.
Although Fresh Hope Ministries International is a UK based Charitable Trust based in Bangor, Northern Ireland our Operations Centre is centred in Bo, the second largest city in Sierra Leone.

On Christmas Eve 2007 the British national neswpaper, The Independent reports on its front page that Sierra Leone has the highest infant mortality rate in the world. As a UK charity, Fresh Hope Ministries International, has set up Heaven's Garden Baby Recue Centre in October 2007 to try and help save the lives of these vulnerable babies.
Please consider donating to this project so that we can reach more mothers whose babies would otherwise die. The highest death rate in babies in the world has many contributing causes which we will go into soon and report here.
We are not always successful, only on 19th December 2007 we lost one of our 2 week old twins, the other remains seriously ill - Out of our arms and into the arms of Jesus.
You can donate by all the major Credit and Debit cards using the form at the top right of this site or by usng the Donation forms menu on the left.
